Lucy Wittenberg is a Canadian born glass artist, living on the lake side community of Keswick in Georgina, Ontario. She is a self – taught artist always following the path of creative play and imaginative self-expression. Lucy uses broken glass, mosaic tiles, paint and her own two hands to create unique designs. Throughout the creative process, she is careful to keep her focus not only on the forthcoming aesthetic piece but also on her passion to reduce, reuse and recycle broken glass to prevent it ending up in our landfills. Her glass art might tell you that she enjoys transforming things, making something beautiful from nothing. She believes, “Everything doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.”
