Georgina Centre for Arts and Culture

Located at 149 High Street in Sutton, Ontario, is Georgina’s hidden art gem, known as the GCAC.

There, you will find fascinating exhibitions featuring local and international artists, as well as selected pieces from the Gallery’s permanent collection. The important Indigenous exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, and historical artefacts.

The GCAC also features a gift shop stocked with works by local artists and artisans: paintings, sculpture, pottery, weaving, quilting, books, greeting cards, jewellery, and more.

You will also discover theGCAC’s  monthly “Artist in Residence,” working on current pieces and available to discuss their inspirations and process.

The GCAC offers workshops, kids’ art camps, and a small library of art books.

Start your own creative adventure this fall at the GCAC.  Our excellent instructors will guide you in all aspects of a new form of artistic expression.  No experience necessary.  Introductory workshops in painting, printmaking and photography are available for registration now with more being added.  Visit https://thegcac.ca/events/category/workshops/ for more information and to register online.

During the Georgina Studio Tour, be sure to drop by the gallery for a visit, use of the washrooms, and shelter from the weather should you need it.

Parking is available front and rear of the building as well as next door at Manor Dental.
