Paul Harpley

My art reflects a passion for the land, lakes and wildlife. I work in many mediums from painting (watercolour and acrylic) to drawing and sculpture. As a naturalist working to reflect my ecological perspective of life, I bring attention to detail and overall design integrity together in impactful ways. I have drawn and painted landscapes and wildlife for over thirty years while I’ve lived in the Lake Simcoe region, and at international locations remaining active in conservation initiatives in Canada and abroad. With published and/or illustrated scientific technical papers, book chapters and popular magazine articles, originality and authenticity are focuses of my art practice.

An established Canadian visual artist, my original art is in private and corporate collections in Canada, U.S.A., Europe and other countries. Limited edition reproductions of my work have made my artistic vision accessible to a broader public in recent decades.
