Marilyn Leola was born in Canada. Like many Canadians she has a true love of nature. Marilyn paints many landscapes. She also does paintings of people’s homes, cottages, and business.

Currently she has done a series of paintings called “Playing With Fire”. These are four large paintings of nuclear bomb explosions. They were painted to bring peoples attention to the fact that these bombs could easily destroy our world. They are a great risk to us all. Much work has been done to rid our world of these bombs. Marilyn believes we should have zero tolerance for these weapons. Marilyn does prefer to see the beauty in this world.

Marilyn studied design and drafting in college. That is where she discovered her love of drawing and painting.

Marilyn’s work can be found in “The Pelham Art Show”. She was chosen for “The One of A Kind Show” in the fall of 2024, but was unable to attend. Marilyn looks forward to attending many more shows in 2025.
