This will be my seventh year on the tour. My background is made up of 55 years of sewing, a degree in Early Childhood Education from Sheridan College and night school in Upholstery and Window Treatments! I started Thistledown Creations 10 years ago while working for Sherwin Williams as an in-store Colour Consultant. My creative ideas for both my children’s clothing and quilts have come from my love of colour and the practicality of getting children dressed for 20 years! My jackets and raincoats have large zippers and Velcro closings and wash really well. My quilts are 60 inches squared with a cotton top, batting and Minkee backing that makes them ideal for snuggling and cuddling. I am now retired and so looking forward to new adventures in my business and life.
