I have been drawing all my life and started pursuing watercolours in 2007, after moving from Toronto to Aurora. I enrolled in watercolour classes at Newmarket School of Fine Art, and spent many fun years learning with Alana Biasi. I have been a watercolour instructor for the past nine years in York Region. I have lived in Keswick for the past two years, and really enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as bird watching. I have participated in many art shows, including Aurora Art, Schomberg Street Gallery, King City Art Show, Patrick House SOYRA fall show and Women in Watercolor (an international digital exhibit). These shows are all juried, and I have received multiple honourable mentions. I have participated in workshops in Haliburton, as well as workshops through SOYRA. I am inspired by any subject matter that I feel can be translated well through the medium of watercolor, including birds, flowers, animals, cityscapes, landscapes and people.
